Tintorera … Tiger Shark (1977)

So this is how I found my username. By watching one of the worst movies ever. This 1977 Mexican-British horror movie was directed by notorious René Cardona Jr and was filmed at Isla Mujeres, a resort island near Cancún.

All the underwater scenes were filmed with live sharks using the submarine expertise of Ramón Bravo.

The plot can be summarized as follows: Sex, Drugs and… SHAAAAAAARK!!!

I never felt sorry for the shark’s victims.

However, I like the theatrical posters and artwork …

… except for the crappy German poster. Seriously, did they watch the same movie as the other artists? Did they watch anything at all?

Pictures from various sources, just google “Tintorera” if you want to know more
or watch the full movie on YouTube (if you dare):
